Progreso (Progress)

The first week of my final product handout is quickly approaching. The week of April 2nd continues to become closer and closer. Although this is very exciting, it has caused a large amount of stress this past week. I have spent all my time during the past couple days creating and finalizing my handout for the week of April 2nd. Even though it required a great amount of work, major progress on my project has been made.

This week, I completed my handout for the week of April 2nd and got it checked by Señora Allison Lau, Spanish teacher at Reedy High School. After getting it checked, I had a confidence boost because I made less mistakes on the final product than I had made on my original work. This proves that I have made a large amount of progress in the past few months. As I look back at this year in Independent Study and Mentorship, I feel successful and accomplished. I have completed so much since the beginning of school and I cannot wait to continue to do great things in the next few weeks.

I am extremely excited for the upcoming week because I will get the whole handout checked by my mentor, Mrs. Raquel Matney, print out enough copies for the third grade class, and get them ready to be distributed on April 2nd. The week of April 2nd is the week that I will begin to make a positive impact on the lives of these children. This has been a goal for me this whole year and the fact that I am about to start achieving it is unbelievable. I have never been more ready.
