Lauren Gaharan

Raquel Matney is teaching Reading and Writing to third graders at Christie Elementary. This is her ninth-year teaching in Frisco ISD. Mrs. Raquel matney holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, a Texas teaching certificate, an ESL certification, and a Master degree in Education. she was born and raised in Paraguay, a beautiful country in South America, and moved to Texas several years ago. Mrs, Raquel matney has been living in Frisco for the past 12 years. she thinks that It is very exciting to teach the bilingual students in our district and learn from them every day.

Mrs. Raquel Matney was honored as the 2017-2018 FRIsco ISd Teacher of the year at Christie elementary. this is a huge honor and accomplishment.
